At Wyndcliffe, we encourage children to use their creativity and imagination, to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and the needs of others. The children are given opportunities to reflect upon and evaluate their work and the work of others around them and further afield. Children are encouraged to question the use and effectiveness of the products they design and make, and are encouraged to become risk-takers. We encourage children to learn, think and intervene creatively to solve problems both as individuals and as members of a team. In Food Technology, children engage in a variety of cooking opportunities and apply the principles of nutrition and healthy eating when doing this.
