Geography

Intent

Our Geography curriculum develops children’s curiosity and fascination with the natural and human aspects of the world. Children are encouraged to develop a greater understanding of the world and their place in it. We promote a love of learning and raise the children’s level of interest and understanding of diverse places, people, resources and environment. The geography curriculum develops knowledge and skills that are transferrable and progressive, promoting their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. This ensures that every child uses their talents and abilities to their full potential for the rest of their lives, whilst possessing the passion to explore, discover and preserve our precious planet for future generations.
