We are learning how to be palaeontologists! We've been learning about dinosaur fossils. We used salt, flour and water to create a dough. Then, we carefully pressed a dinosaur into the dough and now we are waiting for it to dry. We also used a toothpick to extract chocolate chips out of a cookie. Take a look at our photos...

As part of our topic Dinosaur Planet, Year 1 had an amazing afternoon meeting some fantastic reptiles.
We bid farewell to our topic Moon Zoom by having a fantastic
Alien Tea party.
Dave, Bob and Scooby the aliens also had a fab time too.

We want to say a huge thank you to the Connect Church for all their hard work this weekend. We now have a fantastic sensory garden. We loved exploring our new area!! Take a look at our time in the garden.
The children in 1M had a very busy morning exploring the number bonds for 10, 11 and 20. We had lots of fun!

The children at the Oaks had a fun filled afternoon at the very first KS1 Comic Relief Quiz. It was a tough battle!! Children V Teachers, final score:

Year One gave their very first presentation...Bright Lights Big City. We had lots of fun sharing our knowledge, singing songs and even performing the actions to the classic nursery rhyme London Bridge is Falling down. A HUGE thank you to our parents who came to watch.
