Above are some of the fantastic school council team who will all be part of a proportional representation of the school. This year the council team will be working very hard with Miss Moghal on several ideas and projects which have come through pupil voice and what the school council team put forward in the previous academic year. Article 12 of the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child (UNRC) states that children and young people should have a say in decisions that affect their lives. A school council can provide a meaningful way in which pupils can voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them. Wyndcliffe thrives in listening to the opinion of children and we are positive it will be a brilliant year for the school council team.
